Futures Teaching:

Announcing an Opportunity for NOCCCD Faculty Mentoring with Members of the Institute for the Future at Anne Arundel Community College (AACC).

FOR WHOM: For any NOCCCD faculty interested in chatting with an experienced faculty at AACC in their discipline about futures and/or experimenting with futures in their classes.

HOW IT WORKS: Contacts can be made at any time initially via email and later by phone if mutually convenient.
Communications are informal, intermittent, and faculty-to-faculty, depending on mutual interests.

POSSIBLE TOPICS: Topics of mutual interest might include, 1) how futures can be empowering for students, 2) how futures stimulates student interest and critical thinking about your course material by connecting it with their individual futures, 3) how to begin experimenting with futures in your class, 4) specific futures exercises for your class, and 5) many others...

HOW TO START CONNECTING WITH YOUR OWN, PERSONAL FACULTY MENTOR
IN FUTURES:
Because of privacy considerations, the names and contact information of AACC faculty who have been kind enough to volunteer to mentor us are not published on this web site.
However, simply email Bruce Cordell anytime and he will instantly provide all the contact info that you need to get started.
Email Bruce at: bcordell@fullcoll.edu
